Abrielle | Vancouver Newborn Photographer
After some pretty annoying and stressful technical difficulties with my website being down for three days (!!!), I am finally able to blog my recent newborn session. I had a temporary post over here, at my Livejournal, but I was so excited when I found that I was back online, so I can post here!
The other day I got to hold and snuggle and cuddle the cutest brand new baby girl. Abrielle. Just six days old and so sweet. Teeny little toes and fingers and that newborn pucker to her mouth. I did the session here in North Vancouver, and was blessed with some great light thanks to partial sun, and a big window. Normally I would do these sessions in the client’s home, but Megan and Micah didn’t have the space or light so I set up a mini studio in my home. It worked out well. Gotta love warm, sunny spring days in Vancouver! With some cloud cover to diffuse the light. The warmth coming through the window was great for keeping this delicious little newborn warm, and I had great light from almost every angle!
Anyway, enough blabber already how about some pictures?

Look at that smile! I know it’s not intentional but newborn smiles are the BEST. That little face just made me all heart melty.
Tiny little toes! And they were tiny. I had such big baby boys that eensy baby girl fingers and toes are just so sweet to me.
I love this one. Look at her little mouth!

I just love how bendy newborns are. I love their little wrinkles, their wispy hair, the peach fuzz on their bodies. I love their sweet satisfied milky stupor when their bellies are full.
I love this one because she popped her leg out of the pod, as if to say, enough already! She stretched her leg, and didn’t even open an eye.
And of course I had to get some with her daddy. He had these great tattoos, and I thought the contrast would be so great. I think I was right, what do you think?

And all of them together. Isn’t this just such a beautiful new family? From wedding to maternity to baby, I had the privilege of photographing Megan and Micah, and now baby Abrielle.
I am so blessed to be able to photograph newborns, babies and children. Being a photographer is such a blessed way of earning a living.
